Back from the bike ride around town showing off the new hair… I received plenty of honks and only a few people that intentionally swerved to try and run me over thinking I was a smurf. I found a table and chairs on the bike ride, and refinished the table. I brought them all back to the apartment; happy to have some furniture. Lo and behold, the table can’t fit in my door. The nap from last night got a little carried away and morphed into hibernation. The good news is, I am now ready to charge into three days of insanity. What an adventurous day so far; the burning of the scalp has come to an end now, but the great taste that the crowd has in hair color selection will live on. The crowd has decided to send me to bed for nap… at 9pm? Starting to think I should visit a vegetarian website, and maybe go to the grocery store:

I am now part smurf, with blue hair… well mostly, another coat of “Shocking Blue” is needed to get the remaining splotches of other colors out. My scalp still burns from the bleach, but in a good way.
Last night’s dinner saw naan and humus take the lead: http://www.crowdpicker.com/question/view_question/119. Unfortunately my culinary skills aren’t quite up to par; I went on to burn the naan. Following that up with another non-meat breakfast of bagels with cheese… again burning the bagel.
It looks like all four of the borrowers from the Kiva poll are fully funded already! The amount that was going to go towards Alma Elumbaring, will now go to another deserving borrower.

Hair color is starting to lean heavily on blue, its going to take a lot to turn that around… hooray!
Due to the support of the crowd community for Kiva, I think that it will be best to kick that part of 7 days up a notch. Everyday I will be posting the stories of 4 Kiva borrowers, and asking the crowd to pick who should be awarded the loan. I hope that you all can participate as well, either through comments on this blog or through loans to Kiva itself.
