Back from the bike ride around town showing off the new hair… I received plenty of honks and only a few people that intentionally swerved to try and run me over thinking I was a smurf. On the ride I completed the second task set upon me by the crowd http://www.crowdpicker.com/question/view_question/125.

I found a table and chairs on the bike ride, and refinished the table. I brought them all back to the apartment; happy to have some furniture. Lo and behold, the table can’t fit in my door. First day of a three day weekend – What to do?

The nap from last night got a little carried away and morphed into hibernation. The good news is, I am now ready to charge into three days of insanity. Blue hair day, and a double Kiva winner

What an adventurous day so far; the burning of the scalp has come to an end now, but the great taste that the crowd has in hair color selection will live on. The crowd has decided to send me to bed for nap… at 9pm? Starting to think I should visit a vegetarian website, and maybe go to the grocery store:

Blue Hair and Oscar William Receives a Loan

Oscar has received the first Kiva loan http://www.crowdpicker.com/question/view_question/122, but I am still waiting for the results for the second loan to be awarded!

I am now part smurf, with blue hair… well mostly, another coat of “Shocking Blue” is needed to get the remaining splotches of other colors out. My scalp still burns from the bleach, but in a good way.

Struggling vegetarian thats about to get blue

Last night’s dinner saw naan and humus take the lead: http://www.crowdpicker.com/question/view_question/119. Unfortunately my culinary skills aren’t quite up to par; I went on to burn the naan. Following that up with another non-meat breakfast of bagels with cheese… again burning the bagel.

It looks like all four of the borrowers from the Kiva poll are fully funded already! The amount that was going to go towards Alma Elumbaring, will now go to another deserving borrower.

Hair color is starting to lean heavily on blue, its going to take a lot to turn that around… hooray!

Everyday I will be posting the stories of 4 Kiva borrowers, and asking the crowd to pick who should be awarded the loan. Kayaking trip complete – now hair color?

No flipping of the kayak yet, the gorge water is pretty grungy… option of jumping in the ocean is still out there though, and likely in the next few days.

Round 2 of decision making is looking like I am going to see a drastic change to my diet for the week, http://www.crowdpicker.com/question/view_question/103. The poll is only a quarter complete, but a vegetarian diet appears to have a solid lead. I’ll definitely need to learn some new things to cook, but until the poll is complete I’m going to run and grab a few steaks.
